There are over 200 reviews of the Kate Somerville Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment and the clinical results speak for themselves in the improvements seen by those that have tried the oil.Ĭlinical studies showed that 100% of women who trialled the treatment saw an improvement in the firmness, elasticity and hydration of their skin whilst 87% saw a more even skintone, and 75% saw their fine lines and wrinkles reduced. I haven’t tried applying it to damp skin as I do my skincare routine in my bedroom and prefer to keep my cleansers in my bathroom. You do definitely have to apply it onto clean skin or it’ll ball up whatever you applied first. I don’t think the scent will be for everyone but it is something I can overlook as the formula is so potent. I’m very sensitive with scents anyway, and I appreciate that this is a 100% natural formula so they’ve not used artificial fragrances. The scent isn’t something I love as it’s a little herbal and strong, and it does linger on the skin. Kate has also included a tip that you can make your moisturiser work harder in the colder months by mixing it with a few drops of Dilo Oil for a boost of hydration. Kate Somerville recommend using the oil am and pm with 1-2 drops on a clean face and neck but best results are seen when applied to damp skin. The Kate Somerville Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment is packaged within a rounded glass bottle with a pipette dispenser, and the oil is a bright yellow colour. 75% of women said the appearance of their fine lines and wrinkles was dramatically reduced.87% of women showed significant improvement in evenness of skin tone.100% of women showed highly significant improvement in skin hydration.100% of women showed highly significant improvement in skin firmness and elasticity.

The packaging does look different compared to before too, but regardless of when it originally launched I’ve been trialling it for a couple of weeks and it’s been a great addition to my skincare routine. From what I can gather, the Kate Somerville Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment £55 isn’t a new product as I can find reviews from 2013 so it might be a re-launch, or perhaps a new and improved formula. I feel pretty luck to have my hands on the Kate Somerville Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment as it doesn’t launch until January on SpaceNK, but you can get your hands on it via the Kate Somerville UK website if you don’t fancy waiting.
